If you're new to paddleboarding, or you've done it before but struggling to get to grips with the basics such as standing or correct paddling techniques this will be the perfect lesson for you to join.
In our lessons, you’ll learn the fundamental skills to get you started covering everything from,

Setting up the equipment

Prone, kneeling and standing on the paddleboard

Paddling techniques
-
Different types of turns
-
Safety techniques and self rescue
-
Understanding suitable conditions and gaining knowledge of wind and tide effects

Choosing the right equipment

All of the necessary equipment for paddleboarding lessons is included in the price. Board, paddle, leash and bouyancy aid. We recommend bringing footwear for going in the sea as we get a few stones in the shallows, either wetsuit shoes or an old pair of trainers.

We always recommend taking a paddleboard lesson before hiring so that you have the basics in the bag.
Paddleboard hire includes paddle, safety leash and buoyancy aid.

Paddleboard hire is available most days April-September 0900-1700, if you wish to hire outside these times please drop us an email.

If you wish to rent a SUP just turn up and we will get you set up with the right equipment and a safety briefing before heading out on the sea.

For groups more than 4 please drop us an email and we can pre book paddleboards for you.
