Foil Assist is one of the latest watersports available at The Beach Watersports Littlehampton. Sessions are run 1:1 with an experienced foiling instructor who’ll help you build confidence, improve your control and progress safely at your own pace.
Foil Assist is ideal for complete beginners, wingfoilers or kitefoilers looking to sharpen their skills, or anyone wanting to feel what it’s like to fly above the water — and you don’t even need to stand up to enjoy it, as you can experience the lift lying down or on your knees.
Using a powered foil board means more time riding and less time waiting for the right conditions, making it one of the easiest and most effective ways to learn balance, stance, speed control and turning.
You’ll start with a full equipment overview and safety briefing before your instructor talks you through how the Foil Assist system works, including the controls and how to use them safely and confidently.
Once you’re comfortable with the basics, you’ll head into the water to experience the feeling of foiling for yourself — starting lying on your front, then progressing onto your knees as you build confidence with balance, speed control and that first sense of lift. After your session, we recommend booking further Foil Assist time to keep building your skills before progressing further on your foiling journey.
