From your very first wave through to building confidence and consistency, we offer high-quality coaching for adults and kids, combining safe instruction with a strong sense of community — all in one of the South Coast’s most popular beach holiday destinations.
Our Adult Surf Lessons are perfect for beginners and improvers who want to learn in a relaxed, supportive setting. With small group sizes and experienced coaches, you’ll build real confidence, sharpen your technique, and learn how to read waves, understand conditions, and choose the right moments to go. It’s about progressing properly — and enjoying your time in the water on the West Sussex coast.
Private Surf Coaching gives you focused, one-to-one or private group sessions tailored to your goals, ability, and the day’s conditions. Whether you’re working on your first pop-up, refining your turns, or building confidence in bigger surf, private coaching accelerates your progression and makes every minute in the water count.
Our Kids Surf Club helps young surfers build real confidence in the sea — learning to read the ocean, ride waves, and support each other in the lineup. For ages 7–15, sessions are safe, structured, and fun, with experienced coaches adapting every lesson to the group’s ability and the conditions on the day. Small waves or bigger energy, we focus on skills, resilience, and enjoying the process.
Looking for people to surf with? Whether you’re new to the water or a seasoned local, our Social Surf Club is a free, friendly way to meet likeminded surfers and share some waves. Come down, catch a few, chat boards and conditions, and be part of a positive crew in the lineup. Equipment hire is available during Socials, with a coach in the water supervising the group — so you can surf safely and with confidence, even if you don’t have your own gear.
To keep everyone safe in the water, all surfboard hire at The Beach Bracklesham Surf Club is supervised. We do not offer open, standalone board hire.
